Comprehensive Approaches to Raising Educational Standards (CARES) for the Early Learning Workforce

A system which provides career guidance and financial assistance for licensed center-based and family child care providers, license exempt providers, family friend and neighbor caregivers and entry level child care workers serving children from birth through age 5.

Child Care Planning & Capacity Building

First 5 Riverside works to increase the capacity of child care and preschool programs in Riverside County through planning, coordination, consultation, advocacy and direct support for facility creation and/or expansion. Through a collaborative effort to substantially increase child care capacity called ABCD Constructing Connections, First 5 Riverside and others also focused on streamlining the process and procedures leading to construction, renovation and expansion of childcare centers in Riverside County and its incorporated cities. Special Needs Assistance Program

Provides universal access to a comprehensive screening process for any child through age 5 that resides in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District to identify children with or at-risk of any special needs.

First 5 Riverside Service Corps

The First 5 Riverside AmeriCorps program is a government-funded community service program designed to meet specific community needs. Individuals serve 1,700 hours, providing oral health education to children ages 2-5 years old.
