Persuant to California Governemnt Code section 54957 (b)(1), personnel evaluation, notice is given that the Riverside County Children & Families Commssion is holding a special closed session meeting Feb. 8 after the 1:30 p.m. Joint Commission Meeting at First 5 Riverside's Business office:2002 Iowa Ave. Ste. 100 Riverside, CA

The Riverside County Children & Families Commission meets monthly at the Riverside County Children & Families Commission office: 2002 Iowa Avenue, Suite 100 Riverside, CA 92507. DIRECTIONS. Any “Special” meetings of the Commission are noticed in advance in accordance with the Brown Act. All meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted 72 hours in advance.

Riverside County Children & Families Commission

To help direct Proposition 10 funds at the local level and support the healthy development of young children in their communities, County Commissions were established in each of California’s 58 counties. On June 9, 2009 the Board of Supervisors amended the membership section of Ordinance 784 to reflect the appointment of six Commissioners and six Alternate Commissioners. Each member of the Board of Supervisors appoints one Commissioner and one alternate with the sixth being an At-Large appointment by the entire Board. These appointments are in addition to a member of the Board of Supervisors, the County Health Officer, and an individual responsible for the management of one of several enumerate County functions.
